Ms Kat- 


Contemporary, Musical Theater, Competition choreographer.

Katherine began feeding her passion for dance at the age of five. She continued throughout her high school career where she became a teacher and choreographer for the En Croix dance team at Crossroads UMC.  Engrossed in dance, she took her education further to Western Carolina University where she studied various genres of dance ranging from hip-hop, jazz, ballet, and modern. After that she went back to NC where she started teaching, specializing in pre-elementary dance education in ballet, tap, and jazz. She has taught and choreographed Ballet, Modern, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Hip Hop classes. She has also choreographed various soloists and brought them to the competitive stage where they have placed with high scores and over all placements, also qualifying and competing in National competitions In the summer of 2016.  Katherine is very excited to join the Be Dance family! She will be challenging the students and strengthening their technical skills in Ballet and Jazz.  Katherine has a passion for teaching others how to express themselves through the art of dance and how to become more confident dancers.


Ms Viv- 


Baby and Mini Jazz/Tap, Teacher assistant.

Vivianne has been dancing since she was 4 and has been a student of Be Dance from the very beginning, and a student of Ms Reggy’s since before Be Dance started. She is trained in all styles of dance, but especially enjoys flamenco, jazz, and contemporary. She’s currently a homeschooled high schooler and a member of the Be Dance competition team, winning performance recognition, double platinum awards, scholarships, first place and other highpoint awards. She was also a Celebration Talent Dancer of the Year Finalist for 2021 and a top 5 Dancer of the Year finalist at Rainbow Dance Competition for 2022. She loves performing on stage, choreographing, and broadening her horizons as a dancer at conventions. She values stage presence and charisma, as well as practice and dedication. She loves working with children and teaching all styles of dance. She has grown so much as a dancer with Be Dance and is eager to share her knowledge and spread her passion to the next generation of Be Dancers! 


Ms Elizabeth- 


Advanced Ballet, Pointe, Nutcracker choreographer.

Elizabeth danced professionally for fifteen years. She began her training with The Springfield Ballet Company in her hometown of Springfield, Illinois. During high school she attended summer intensive programs at American Ballet Theatre, The Joffrey Ballet School in NYC, The Rock School, and Nashville Ballet. Following high school Elizabeth danced for two years with Nashville Ballet. In 2005 she joined The Georgia Ballet. She danced under the tutelage of Janusz Mazon and Gina Hyatt Mazon, former principal dancers with John Neumeier's Hamburg Ballet. Elizabeth performed major roles for twelve years with The Georgia Ballet. She has especially enjoyed performing the title roles in Paquita and Janusz Mazon's choreographed Firebird, Waltz Girl in Balanchine's Serenade, Turning Girl in Balanchine's Who Cares, Aurora and Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, as well as Dew Drop, Snow Queen, and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. In addition to The Georgia Ballet, Elizabeth also performed with Dance Canvas and The Lume Foundation in Atlanta. While a company member, she also served as Ballet Mistress for The Georgia Ballet under the artistic direction of Alexander Proia and assistant to the artistic director during Fiona Farrie's tenure. A dance teacher since age fifteen, Elizabeth's passion lies in sharing her knowledge and love of dance through teaching ballet to students of all ages.

Ms Hannah- 


Industry, Company.

Hannah has been training for the past 20 years in and around her hometown of Parkville/Kansas City. She competed most of her youth under the direction of Jennifer Eliot. She has worked with numerous choreographers including Tokyo, Mandy Pruett-Borgelt, Quinn Self, and others. During high school, Hannah was captain of her High School Dance Team at Park Hill South, Southside Girls, and a member all 4 years. She has been a a standing member of multiple pre professional companies and teams like the Collaboration Laboratory Dance Company in Kansas City & Mo-State Movement. Additionally, Hannah led her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, choreographing and performing in annual Greek life competitions. Hannah has assisted Mandy Pruett-Borgelt in choreographing for international teams through her association with Universal Dance Association. Hannah had the privilege of teaching and choreographing at multiple competitive & recreational studios and high school dance teams throughout Kansas City for the past 7 years. 
Hannah brings with her a great knowledge of competition dance, choreography skills, performance skills, and is excited to share her joy of dance!

Margo Melancon is a Native of Houston, Tx. Since the age of 3, She has trained and competed in various styles including Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop. Margo instructed for HTEDance in Dallas, Texas where she received various awards for her jazz and hip hop choreography. Margo completed 2 seasons as a NBA dancer for the New Orleans Pelicans. She currently continues to pursue a career in commercial dance. She has been casted in films and tv shows such as Senior Year, Pitch Perfect, Honey 4, Step up: High Water, and American Soul. Her stage credits include BET Awards, Nelly, Teyana Taylor, Bell Biv DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Xscap3, and New Edition .

Ms Jill- 


Studio manager, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Ballet, Company, Competition choreographer.

Jill grew up dancing in Buffalo, NY starting at the age of 3. Jill danced competitively in the areas of Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Ballet. She attended Buffalo State College, graduating with a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and B.A. in Dance. She has choreographed and taught competitive and recreation dance for 10 years. She danced professionally here in Atlanta, and worked under talent management. She loves to share her passion for dance by teaching young individuals, giving them the opportunity to share the same passion. Jill is in school pursuing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and she looks forward to combining her expertise with her dance pedagogy.

Ms Teresa- 


Ballet, Technique.

Teresa began her ballet training at Southern Ballet Theater in Jacksonville, FL under the direction of Marta Jackson. Upon moving to Tampa, she continued her training with Carmen Morales at the School of Ballet and Spanish Dance and with Haydee Gutiérrez at the Classical Ballet Center of Tampa. In high school, Teresa was a member of the Tampa Concert Ballet Company. During her college years, she studied under Sarah Stravinska and Helen McGhee, was a member of her college dance company, and taught ballet at a local studio.
In 1994, Teresa’s passion for dance brought her to Atlanta Ballet as she began taking classes with Carol Szkutek. She has focused on Vaganova training in her classes with Marina Levasheva. Teresa enjoys Pedagogy and Kinesiology, especially since she has a strong interest in the cross training of ballet dancers for increased strength and flexibility and injury prevention. Teresa graduated summa cum laude with her B.A. in Dance from KSU in May 2019.
Teresa loves teaching ballet technique. “It is important to me to teach ballet technique so that each dancer can reach their full potential whether they are taking classes for personal enjoyment or if they want to be a professional dancer.” Teresa is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique

Also, our students get access to the student section of their website where they have access to online master classes from world-renowned choreographers and teachers. 

Ms Reggy- 


Owner/Director, Baby and Mini Ballet/Flamenco, Flamenco, Acro, Company, Competition choreographer.

Regina Solis Carrillo, has been studying dance since the age of three. A proud wife and mom of three boys, she has 20 years of experience teaching and sharing her passion for dance to children and adults of all ages. One of Ms. Reggy's favorite experiences is when she was a  professional dancer with the Atlanta Hawks Cheerleaders. She is part of Calo Theatre Company where she acts and dances Flamenco professionally. Ms Reggy is an Acrobatic Arts certified teacher, and enjoys teaching Acro to beginner students all the way to advanced. As an Alixa Flexibility certified instructor, Ms Reggy is passionate about safety and progress when helping students achieve their flexibility goals. She is a member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO), and is currently enrolled in their Professional Development Institute. She is also certified in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT).
She has trained with the best teachers and choreographers around the world. Ms. Reggy continues to stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the world of dance, always seeking further education and training. Her favorite is traveling to Spain to take Flamenco workshops from the very best!
